Electric vs. Propane

Alright folks, I need your help!!  Do I go for an electric cooktop range or propane?  I’ve always had gas except for the brief time in Texas where I used electric and didn’t care for it.  My propane usage has been limited to BBQ cooking but I’ve never used it for regular everyday cooking.  As of right now, we’re only set up for electric, so I would need to run the gas line which will be an added cost, so that is deterring me a bit.  However, I really want to do things right here, and hopefully once, so if it’s the best choice I’m willing to splurge in this area.  Another bonus is electric ranges are cheaper…buttttt, I like how gas ranges look more.  While I can get over the looks, I mainly just want something that works well and isn’t going to drive me crazy in the kitchen.  These are the electric ranges I’ve been eyeballing –

So, what are your opinions on propane or electric?  I need all the help I can get!
