Hey all, hope you had a relaxing and fun 4th! We enjoyed our home and had a blast playing, BBQing, and seeing the fireworks right from our front yard! It was such a great day, just being together. Not much has happened in the flooring department, so that’s why you haven’t seen any updates. We hit a snafu when we went to start and saw just how unlevel the floor really is. Now, while I can lay floor like the best of them, grinding concrete is a bit above my pay grade, so we’ve enlisted the help of our trusty handyman to get it all prepped. We’ve had some yard cleanup in the meantime, but it’s not enough of a difference to write about. So instead we’ll talk about the kid’s bathroom.
I am so excited!! The vanity was delivered a couple weeks ago and we unwrapped it to make sure it was all in one piece and it. is. Beautiful!! I let the kids pick it out along with the faucet fixtures…I may have swayed them a little, but they do love it too, so that’s what matters, right?
Look at those feet!! 😍 I found it for the best price at Wayfair and I had a first time customer coupon which also helped, plus free shipping. We went with a vintage brass finish for the faucets. These aren’t the exact ones, but they’re pretty similar.

I’m going for a classic, timeless look so that we’ll be happy for a long, long time. Hopefully, I’ll achieve that, haha!
We’ll be doing white subway tile in the tub surround and this is the shower fixture we got–
It’s the Pfister Saxton in Tuscan Bronze. If you click on the picture it will take you to the listing. I can’t find it for the same price we got it but this one isn’t too far off.
I’m still not sure on the light fixtures and mirrors yet. I cannot wait to get it all put together, especially since we can’t even use this bathroom right now!
