Hi everyone,
I know Easter weekend was two weekends ago, but I thought we would share how we spent ours. On Saturday, we started the day looking at prospective houses. There were several on the list but only one met all of our criteria; close to work, good schools, nice area, etc. The others were, let’s just say, interesting. To give us some time to think about which to choose if any at all, we went to Ft. Worth to check out the stockyards. We got to see longhorn cattle, do a fun maze, and walk around the shops. Mike and I would like to go back for a date night some day…ha, we’ll see if that ever happens.
Since we celebrated Easter with family before we left, Easter Sunday was a little less traditional for us. The Easter Bunny thankfully found us and did his usual yarn maze with baskets for the kids…thank you Easter Bunny! After breakfast, we went for a drive and took some pics in one of Texas’ bluebonnet fields. They really are beautiful and they’re everywhere. You’ll be driving on the freeway and just see a bunch of cars off to the side with people taking pictures of them…right…on…the freeway! It was a little strange when we first saw it, lol. We then headed home to hang out with Pebbles.
Sunday night we decided to sign a lease with the one house that seemed better suited for us. We will be moving in on the 15th and are looking forward to having our things and getting back to a routine.
Missing you all,
Lo Presti Gang
